Amin Ahmadian and Haruna Ojio move to next level |
|
Bronze
medallist one year ago when beaten at the semi-final stage by
China’s Qian Tianyi, the player who later in the year was to
be crowned world junior champion; on Sunday 11th August at the
2019 Hang Seng Hong Kong Junior and Cadet Open, Japan’s Haruna
Ojio climbed two steps higher. |

恒生香港青少年乒乓球公開賽 –
國際乒聯青少年巡迴賽經歷了5日的賽事，港隊以1金（香港/伊朗聯隊）1銀7銅完成今屆賽事。香港乒乓總會主席余國樑指今屆賽事得獎的國家或地區選手平均，看到亞洲乒乓球的氣氛及水平正在提升，期望港隊加以訓練、增強自信，明年再在香港站爭取佳績。 |

恒生香港青少年乒乓球公開賽經歷4日激戰後，今天第5個賽事日來到「煞科日」，港隊分別在女子青年組單打、男子少年單打及雙打收穫3面銅牌，連計團體賽成績，港隊合共收穫1金（香港/伊朗聯隊）1銀7銅結束今屆賽事。其中，昨日激戰至晚上近10時的港隊女青單打代表周穎詩，4強不敵韓國的崔海恩無緣決賽，但仍為升上青年賽首面單人賽獎牌感到滿意。 |

「2019
恒生香港青少年乒乓球公開賽 – 國際乒聯青少年巡迴賽」昨日（10日）上演個人賽主賽。適逢週末，觀眾席的人群比前幾天多。培正小學乒乓球校隊的蔡教練亦特地帶同校隊學生及家長前來觀賞賽事。蔡教練指他的學生曾參加學界比賽，但從未參與過國際比賽，趁著今次機會讓學生見識國際球員的水平。 |

Surprise names reach semi-finals, unexpected outweighs expected |
|
Semi-finalists decided, as play concluded on Saturday 10th
August, in the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, at the 2019 Hang Seng
Hong Kong Junior and Cadet Open, surprise names appeared
amongst the last four in both the junior boys’ singles and
junior girls’ singles events, in fact the unexpected
outweighed the expected. |

恒生香港青少年乒乓球公開賽經過昨日的單打小組賽後，正賽今天（10日）正式展開。港隊的周穎詩經歷了一日三戰，下午擊退美國董士潔，晚上再先後力拼日本的橫井咲櫻以及韓國的金娥璘，首次打入香港站女單青年組四強，在不設銅牌戰下，肯定「有牌落袋」。 |

港隊把握主場之利 李嘉宜再晉身淘汰賽 |

首階段個人賽事於昨日（9日）繼團體賽結束後展開，香港隊派出30男25女參加，其中共15名女球手晉級。雖然於團體賽中香港A隊的代表李嘉宜、周穎詩、馮慧珠以0比3不敵日本，只能獲得亞軍，但今天在女子單打U18組別，三位女將都成功過關，攜手晉級次階段的淘汰賽，而U18世界排名15的李嘉宜更能相隔一年，再次以小組第1名打入主賽，向著冠軍寶座進發。 |

8月7日起一連五日假伊利沙伯體育館上演。頭兩日為團體賽，首日分組賽的焦點落在日本隊及混合聯隊的少年團體（15歲或以下），日本隊代表之一的「天才球手」張本智和胞妹張本美和及唯一來自敘利亞的10歲女球手沙沙（ZAZA

國際乒聯青少年巡迴賽這日（8日）上演團體賽四強及決賽，港隊各支隊伍經歷了上半日的四強戰後，女子青年A隊成功晉身決賽，但面對強敵日本，最終以場數0：3敗陣得銀牌。隊員之一的李嘉宜指日本球手場上變化速度很快，值得學習，自己將會收拾心情專心單打項目。 |
