Lin Gaoyuan emerged the most successful player at the
Seamaster 2019 ITTF World Tour Hang Seng Hong Kong Open when
play closed on Sunday 9th June in the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.
After securing the men’s doubles title in partnership with
Liang Jingkun, he reserved the top step of the podium in the
men’s singles event on a most successful day for China. |

One year ago, Wang Manyu won the women’s
singles title, she beat Chinese national team colleague, Chen
Xingtong, to reserve the top step of the podium; additionally
Chen Xingtong and Sun Yingsha combined to overcome Chen Ke and
Wang Manyu in the women’s doubles final, whilst in the under
21 women’s singles event Wang Yidi accounted for Chen Ke to
claim gold. |
